Lisa Spilliaert (°1990) lives and works in Ghent, Belgium.
She was born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and a Belgian father. Her fascination for genealogy and the constant shifting between her cultural backgrounds are recurring motifs in her autobiographically inspired work.
